PDMS BECOMES CHAMBER’S FIRST
STRATEGIC PARTNER
Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce has announced that local technology company PDMS has
become its first strategic partner.
A s a strategic partner, over the next three years PDMS will
make a substantial contribution to the work that Chamber
is undertaking to support local businesses and grow the
economy by working closely with the Chamber’s Chief Executive,
Board and Steering Group. In addition, PDMS will provide significant
input to Chamber’s knowledge bank and provide formal mentoring for
its members.
The Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting local
entrepreneurs and business start-ups. As a result of the financial
contribution made by PDMS, this will allow the organisation to offer
these businesses free membership for one year.
Chris Gledhill, Managing Director and co-founder of PDMS,

and diversifying the Island’s business community. As a strategic

PDMS are rebuilding the www.iomchamber.org.im website and creating a
microsite for our recently launched Business Connex service.”
With over 25 years of experience in software engineering in both the
public and private sector, PDMS employs over 80 people across offi ces
in the Isle of Man and Glasgow. PDMS collaborates with clients to design,
develop and support digital solutions including enterprise business
systems, websites and mobile solutions.
Business Connex is a joint initiative between Isle of Man Chamber of
Commerce and the Department for Enterprise. It is a facilitation service
designed to support local businesses and entrepreneurs on the Island,
and to help businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals who have decided
to relocate here.
