compet WIN A CONFERENCE FOR 25 PEOPLE
AT RAMSEY PARK HOTEL
Local businesses that have a conference in the diary but no space to host it could
win our exclusive B365 competition to win a conference for up to 25 people at the
new, purpose-built event space at the Ramsey Park Hotel. The prize would include
a Manx breakfast on arrival, mid-morning coffee and local pastries, chef’s special
lunch, afternoon tea with scones and cakes and Ramsey cookies as a gift!
O pened five and a half years ago under the Classic Lodges ‘Partner’
hotels umbrella, the hotel has an unprecedented location for
businesses overlooking Mooragh Lake, the Skyhill Plantation, the
promenade, and – on a clear day the hills of the Lake District.
Popularity of the Hotel has soared in the last five years and plans to extend
with a function room for up to 250-people and a further 30 bedrooms, was
approved in April 2017.
General Manager of Ramsey Park, James O’Neill, says bookings are being
taken now in time for TT Practice Week that starts on 25th May: “This
development is great for local businesses and local people alike – we will
be taking on a further five permanent staff and up to a dozen or so to help
with events and weddings.
“The hotel will have 60 bedrooms consisting of 39 Deluxe Sea View rooms
and 15 Deluxe Lake View rooms and six executive family suites – that
are M3i Rated – the only hotel on Isle of Man to be rated at this level –
available in time for next year’s TT race.”
Richard Grime, Managing Director of the Classic Lodges chain of hotels,
says the development of Ramsey Park represents a multi-million pound
investment by the Group into the local community: “We are thrilled that
Ramsay Park has been such a tremendous success. The Isle of Man has
proven to be an incredibly popular destination over the last few years,
especially with the growth of the staycation.
“This development will enable the hotel to hold more conferences and
events and become an even more integral part of the community. We are full
14 |
to capacity on many occasions throughout the year, so doubling the number
of rooms will help us to accommodate even more visitors to the island.”
Just off the A3, the hotel is a 15-minute walk from the Ramsey Golf Club and
11 km from Curraghs Wildlife Park. The bright, relaxed rooms come with free
Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and views of the lake, the plantation, the promenade
and/or the coastline. Room service is available.
Complimentary perks include full English breakfast and parking. A laid-back
restaurant features a piano bar, and a terrace with lake views.
