Jim Dolan appointed MD at
Creechurch Capital
Creechurch Capital, the Douglas-based
boutique discretionary fund management
firm, has appointed Jim Dolan as Managing
Director. Dolan, Chartered FCSI and a Chartered
Wealth Manager, joined Creechurch
in March as Director and Investment
Manager following the acquisition of the
business by the Nayyar Group. Since then
Creechurch has seen a number of positive
changes which have included securing key
appointments in order to strengthen the
existing team.

Director at Creechurch Capital, welcomed Dolan’s appointment and
commented: “Following the acquisition we had a period of high activity,
and now that this has been successfully concluded it was an appropriate
time to appoint a Managing Director to the Board. With more than 25
years’ experience working in the City of London during a successful
career as an investment manager, including working closely with FACET
as a Non-Executive Director, Jim is the ideal choice as MD.”

growth.” David Nixon joins new look Creechurch Capital
Creechurch Capital, the Douglas-based boutique discretionary fund
management firm, has announced the appointment of David Nixon to its
board as a Non-Executive Director.
This appointment follows a number of other significant changes since the
acquisition of Creechurch by the Nayyar Group in March this year, and
further reinforces the long-term ambitions for the business.
Nixon is well known in the Isle of Man’s wealth management sector having
held the position of Managing Director at Blackrock for seven years from
2001 before going on to a string of senior positions and directorships
within the Island’s insurance and investment sectors.
Nixon said: “It’s exciting to be part of this new phase in Creechurch’s
development as part of the Nayyar Group. I’m looking forward to working
with local directors Chris Hutton and Jim Dolan to help the company
deliver excellent investment performance, coupled with a peerless level
of client service. Creechurch is a business I have seen grow from its very
formation to the recent acquisition by the Nayyar Group. It is particularly

FACET. Jim Dolan, Managing Director and Investment Manager at Creechurch,

HSBC senior appointment
HSBC has appointed Benjamin Sykes
as Head of Global Liquidity and Cash
Management (GLCM) for Commercial Banking
(CMB) in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
In his role, he will help local businesses
take control of their international cash
management and harness wider, global
opportunities with the Bank’s recently
launched Liquidity Management portal. The
portal gives clients real time insight and trend analysis on their liquidity to
help them improve their funding and investment decisions.
Benjamin has been in the banking industry for over a decade, working
with clients from across the globe. His expertise has been honed in
developing new and innovative client solutions, specifically in the field of
cash management.
Commenting on his appointment, Benjamin said: “At HSBC we continue
to invest in our digital client solutions and there’s a clear demand from
local businesses looking to access global opportunities whilst retaining
transparency and control.”
